Photovoltaic connector for assembling your own solar cables.
The PV4, also known by the brand name MC4 (Multi Contact), are the
standard connectors for photovoltaic systems.
They are suitable for serial as well as parallel cabling and can be used for
building-integrated and for detached solar systems.
The connectors consist of a housing that is protected against water and dust according to IP68
(plugged), and a metal pin that is crimped onto the cable and makes the contact.
The connectors are certified according to IEC 62852 so that safety and quality can be guaranteed.
